Before start the actual job of gutter installation, you should prepare the following gutter parts:

Gutter: The main channel that lines your roof and collects and drainages rainwater.

Fascia: This is where the gutters are attached to.

Fascia bracket: These brackets secure the gutters to the fascia boards.

Downspout: Vertical pipes, they are used to drainage water away from gutters.

Corner joint: They are used to make angles.

Downspout elbow and extensions: They are used to drainage water away from your foundations.

Pop rivet: Components that help secure gutter sections.

Sheet metal screw: Components that help secure gutter sections.

Silicone or gutter sealant: Make joints and connections of gutters waterproof.

Installation Steps

1. Measure accurately the length of each roofline and add a few inches for overlap in connecting places.
2. Determine the gutters that need installation first and make sure the order.
3. Mark the downspout location.
4. Attach fascia brackets to fascia board.
5. Carefully cut the gutters according to the measured length in step 1.
6. Attach the end caps to gutters.
7. Cut the holes for downspouts at the lower end of the gutter.
8. With the help of a ladder, put the gutters into the fascia brackets.
9. Drill holes through the gutters and the screw mounting hole.
10. Connect each gutters at the corner.
11. Install Downspout.
12. Install Gutter guards on the top of gutters.
